5. We rescued our Brittany 8 years ago. He’s 11 now and the best dog I’ve ever had and the only one my kids has known. He’s an old Grey beard now (like me) but he’s the sweetest dog in the world.
   I love all Spaniels they have great temperaments and are great with kids. Lucy looks like a real sweetheart.

   1. True! Lucy’s undisciplined but enthusiastic ability to chase birds is pretty awesome.

7. Beautiful girl.

   I have a Lucy who was given to me because her owner had to be out of town all the time. She had been through 2 other homes before that, but none of it was her fault.

   Her name is Lucille but I call her Lucy often, and she is a fantastic dog. She’s a Basset and 22 months. She’s tripled in size since I got her at 9 months. She gets along beautifully with my other Basset who is close to 6 years old.
