Using IE7? Go here:
Click the Google link.
Click Add Provider. (Click the optional checkbox to set this as your default search page if that’s your pleasure.)
There, you’re done.
I’ve also added Yahoo, Wikipedia, Amazon, and CNET to my list.
Took about 15 seconds, total.
I could add a custom search link to this site, I suppose.
There’s a really easy way to add a custom search provider to ie7. The website enhanceie.com has a nice web interface where you can send a special query to a search engine, copy the resulting URL and the web interface will create a search provider based on that info. It has a few problems, but for the most part makes it very simple
The URL for that page is:
http://www.enhanceie.com/IE/SearchBuilder.asp
Exactly what I needed, your Lordship!
The IE7 searchbox link is now available.
I was going to ask how to add Google Australia but the post above may help.
thanks.

I’ve tried adding Google Australia, but with no luck so far. A search for ‘tigers’ gives the URL http://www.google.com.au+tigers, then an error page.
