Certainly faster then a software wipe, but then you can’t donate it to charity.

Usually I just open the top and drill a few holes through the platters before I dispose of a drive.

That’s useful when your hardrive no longer useful to destory data and hardrive infact.But whnne you want to give your computer to ur friends or selling the old one for the sake of new one DBAN and Eraser will Zerofill all your hardrive data with zeros can’t they be useful?
