On the web, we call that the Diggot curve 🙂
(slash-dot is as bad as digg).
In my life experience I call this “short attention span” and/or “easily amused.”
Here in Germany we call this “run” because they just ran to your page/site/blog and then they are gone. 🙂 So you can apply math functions on visitor’s hourly generated traffic? 😉
