Windows Vista Beta 2 is now available for public download. Let’s see how long Microsoft’s servers stand up under the load of a gazillion people trying to download a DVD image in ISO format that is 3.5GB (32-bit) or 4.4GB (64-bit).

Well… I just tried and the download manager can’t connect to the servers. Hopefully they will get this fixed soon.
Just tried now and the download manager couldn’t find the file to download – the standard copy is downloading fine though.

I wonder why MS doesn’t use Bit Torrent to help out.
The irony of using Bit Torrent gave me a pleasant chuckle.
And I didn’t realize that they had taken out PC-to-PC sync! bummer. Ah well. At least we got a fancy new file system and got rid of the cursed registry. oh wait.
