If you feel like living dangerously, you can download the Office 2007 [*] beta code here. If you don’t already have the .NET Framework 1.1 installed, you’ll have to download and install it first.
[*]Yeah, I know that’s not the official name.

Is it just me, or is a Technet subscription starting to become less and less valuable? It seems everything makes it out to public by Beta 2 these days (IE and Office thus far…), so you’re getting less and less for your $500+ a year with Technet…
Oh, and Vista Beta 2, since I just read my MS Partner Program newsletter…
Ed,
I know you’re a NewsGator guy…Does the new NewsGator Inbox work with 2007 Outlook (wow that sounds stupid…)?
Thanks!
Thomas, I’ve been using FeedDemon with NG’s synchronization feature for the past few months and haven’t tried installing NG Inbox into Outlook 2007.
I suspect it works. The NG folks have been very good about keeping up with developments.
Ok…I’ll be the test case…I’ll post the results here and at the NewsGator Forums.
Thanks!

First I could hardly register to download SmartSource for MS Office Downloads. Server too busy…
Now, after 20 minutes of refreshes and reposts, I cannot login with my e-mail address.
Well done, Microsoft! I guess they were not expecting this level of interest.
Hey Ed / Thomas – Yes, Inbox will work with Office 2007. We’ve had a few people running it in house for a while now.
Just FYI!
It does! Works great! Loving the new Office, too. Haven’t really played with a lot of the new toys, but the UX is great, even on my 1.6GHz 1GB of RAM R15 tablet! I haven’t had the opportunity to play with inking much, but I’m hoping to spend some time tonight in OneNote, exclusively inking.
Thanks!
