That 14th cup of coffee won’t hurt you at all

Well, this is good news.

I do worry occasionally about excessive caffeine intake. I’ll stop before I start having pallets of fresh roasted beans delivered quarterly.

  1. Well, maybe no effect on your heart, but it does have an effect. It is a stimulant, and the body can become dependent on the substance. For instance, unless I have at least a half a cup of coffee each day, I will get a substantial headache. I normally only drink two cups a day.

For I while, I’ve been throwing around the idea of drinking decaf, as I enjoy the flavor more than the caffeine. But, everyone in the office drinks regular, so I’d need to get my coffee somewhere else. Regular happens to be more convenient for me.

  2. I wouldn’t worry about drinking coffee just as long as you do it in moderation (ha-ha-ha). I have been living in England for quite a few years now and have found a really good coffee outlet here http://www.monmouthcoffee.co.uk/contacts.html Have a look at the website and see what you think. It’s a little bit expensive, but, if you want something good you don’t care about the price, well I don’t anyway. Happy drinking. J.B.

  3. All it really says is that you don’t have to worry about heart disease. So, that’s 1 out of perhaps a million things that could go wrong with the human body 🙂
