Although we talk about Media Center, we also talk about Windows Vista and Office 12, so there should be something for everyone. We recorded it a couple weeks ago, and my short-term memory isn’t what it used to be, so it should be just as much of a surprise to me as it is to you.

Hi Ed. I enjoy your blog. Here’s my question: Our new computer came with a 60 day version of Office Standard. We want Publisher along with the other stuff so we need to get Small Business or Professional. The prices are startling! And I read on your blog that a new Office is coming. If we fork out $400 now, will it be a waste of money? On the other hand, having disabled features is driving us crazy so waiting until 2006 doesn’t seem do-able. Stayed in any good timeshares lately? Our last exchange was the Hyatt Lake Tahoe — very nice. Thanks for any Office advice you have. Mary
