I was baffled to read this post from Chris Lanier. And then I read the discussion under this post by Alexander Grundner and it all made sense. Sadly.
The only thing worse than a site that allows no comments is one that is dishonest with its commenting policy. You don’t learn anything by sticking your fingers in your ears when people disagree with you.
Looks like you guys aren’t the only one’s calling EHomeUpgrade to task over this article.

I had unsubscribed to eHomeUpgrade months ago and I’m glad to hear it was a good idea.
All due respect Ed, I think you’re being as hyper-sensitive as Chris is – Alex might not have agreed with Chris, but I read through every post in that thread and that was certainly not a flame war. I might not agree with Alex on this issue, but I think the public tar-and-feathering that you and Chris are engaging in is a bit distasteful. Alex is allowed to disagree with his readers (I’ve been unpopular on my own site before) but I saw nothing in that thread that crosses the line into admin abuse (unless there were posts deleted or something that I didn’t know about).
Can’t we all just get along? 🙂
Go back and check out some of the other threads, Alex has had a bit of a history outside that single thread.
Chris
Jason, you must have missed the “Banned” label under Chris’s user ID.
